A yougov poll released this evening shows that 35 percent of voters would vote labour if there was a general election tomorrow, compared to 37 percent who would vote conservate.

Aha, my old middle class mucker Michael Meacher ( he's working class, we don't want to get sued - ed) who last week stated he had resigned from the British Government:

Meacher to tackle Government from Backbenches

Former environment minister Michael Meacher has pledged to challenge the Government from the backbenches after standing down in the latest reshuffle.

He resigned yesterday after six years in office and now says he plans to use his new found freedom to hold the Government to account on a number of issues.

I was also listening to "The World Tonight" last friday. There was an interview with Michael Meacher where he was specifically asked "Did you voluntarily resign from the Government?"

"Oh yes, absolutely" came the reply.

Well only 9 days letter he decides to tell the truth (that we knew all along):

Meacher: Blair Sacked Me

Veteran Labour politician Michael Meacher has admitted that he was sacked by Tony Blair.

Perhaps he will be spending more time with his 7 (or is it 9 or 12?) houses that he owns. That is despite calling for restrictions on the rights of people to own second homes in rural areas.

Yet another two faced lying weasel out of the way.
