Chavscum.co.uk has a competition running to find the best chav christmas lights in Britian. I couldn't be bothered to enter, but I did feel the need to snap-n-post this one from "Lower Cambourne" 8 miles west of Cambridge. What the hell is that thing in the lower left supposed to be anyway? A festive snow-bear-thing? Ugh. In the meantime I've seen some even worse ones so I'll try and get a snap with an even better camera soon as this picture is terrible...

Attempting some home baking last night I mixed the muffin mix and allowed to raise in the oven. Imagine my amazement when, after lightly burning the mix, to see this peculiar image on the crust of the muffin. It reminded me of the image of The Virgin Mary on a piece of cheese on toast that was sold on eBay not long ago.
Sadly since this burning was not blessed with religious overtones I suspect that it will be confined to the bird table before too long.
