The final thing that we've been busy on at nofear hq are our films. We've got six short films already produced, two in production, and a couple in preproduction. Scriptwriters are currently hard at work on both sides of the atlantic!

I'm sure the individual filmmakers will post details of their works in progress, although I know for a fact the artist's current project is called "Being David Larcher".

Just to keep our film lovers out there happy here is a very (and I mean very) short film about two characters. Digitally remastered from the original frames which were found taken in a secondhand cine-camera.

Click here to see the film. It's been encoded as an MPEG to save space. Might appear as an even smaller WMV file if people ask...

Okay lots of people have been asking for a smaller size, after all we don't all have T1 connections in our home. It's a 351Kb wmv file and probably needs Windows Media 9 to play it. It is also a 'silent' movie in case you think you've gone deaf. Download file

The Artist In Film

Coming soon another independently produced film about our very own resident artist – Damien H. Arse. This short documentary will chart the entire development process of a piece of art, from conceptualisation past the sketches and finally to the fully blown rendering of a work. As well as the art there will be plenty of insight into what defines the artist. So by mid-April have your broadband or ADSL all hooked up for what will be the short film classic of the spring!

Here is a little (facetious) reminder.

This piece is actually part of an ongoing experiment to see how different types of visual and musical stimulation can affect ones emotions with regard to a particular event.

By the way, should I have done this? Is this an acceptable subject for such an experiment?

"War paralyzes your courage and deadens the spirit of true manhood. It degrades and stupefies with the sense that you are not responsible, that 'tis not yours to think and reason why, but to do and die,' like the hundred thousand others doomed like yourself. War means blind obedience, unthinking stupidity, brutish callousness, wanton destruction, and irresponsible murder."

– Alexander Berkman

and so after a few hours at the old video editor, I present you, the viewer, with my anti-war contribution. Due to the less than perfect quality of the original material, the really low bandwidth choices didn't really work, so sorry about the large file sizes.

Warning! Many of the scenes herein contain (genuine) scenes of death, torture and violence perpetrated by both terrorists and western nations. You view on your own free volition.

"It's a long way to Tipperary, it's a long way to go.
It's a long way to Tipperary, to the sweetest girl I know.
Good-bye, Piccadilly,
Farewell Leicester Square.
It's a long long way to Tipperary, but my heart's right there."
