6 weeks ago I posted the above story, which was about a muslim woman's body which was found in a mortuary desecrated with slices of bacon.
Well the police have arrested an individual in this case, so perhaps there will finally be closure for this woman's family.
I also mentioned in that article that I thought we were isolated from this sort of thing in Cambridge. Well recently I noticed some graffiti on the train, it read:
"NIGGER'S OUT - C18" [punctuation as copied]
C18 is shorthand for combat 18 (the 18 stands for the position of adolf hitlers initials in the alphabet). You can click on the link to do google searches. I have no wish to link to such sites from here.
What kind of person thinks to write such stuff whilst standing over the toilet on a suburban train service?! So anyway, I guess we're not immune to this kind of thing round here. Sad.
It makes me sad when I hear of the haters doing this kind of ugly thing. I wonder if it will ever come to an end.
There are pillocks everywhere Douglas. I'm sure I could find a crazy neo-nazi in Haarlem if I looked hard enough. As long as we keep on regarding them as pillocks, all will be relatively well. When we start to take them even slightly seriously, we will have a problem.
